I painted the door in this delicious Dulux Victorian colour last year, but it had cracked where the door was a bit damp when I painted it so I had to fill it again, sand and then repaint it this week. I love to make the front look nice and I adore wreathes all year round. I think they look so pretty (much like the eternal bunting I have around the house!). I bought this heart twig wreath and the doormat from docomgiftshop for a very reasonable price. The house sign also arrived today so it's all coming together now! :-)
Thanks for the nice comments on my new site, it's wonderful to have the support of fellow bloggers. I'm setting up a 'magazine' as I call it where I hope to be able to put together a collection of pretty things that I have seen on the web, in the shops and through other very talented bloggers. If you would like to be featured on my blog then do let me know.

Love the idea of your new site and am tempted to send you some of my details in a month or two. We are slowly working through our cottage as it is looking very tired now. Love the front door and the mat too. Dev x
I have been admiring that beautiful door colour for a long while now, as it's on your blog header. It looks lovely in both photos, but well done for keeping the paintwork up to scratch!
We have a metal ivy-leaf wreath hanging from our door-knocker, and I have recently added a 'bienvenue' sign which was a present from a young friend of the family - such a thoughtful gift!
That is a lovely colour blue, love your welcome mat too!

Simply lovely. I adore the welcome mat, makes me feel there is an invitation for tea awaiting me...

The mat is very pretty and so is the door. Its the sort of door you wouldn't be scared of knocking on as anyone with a door such a sweet colour could only be very nice!
I used to have that very door-mat, but the rain washed all the colour off :o(
I'd be interested in being included in your 'magazine' :o)
Now I know what it looks like I may be round for a cuppa - is there any cake?
