I popped into TK Maxx in my lunch break today and look at what goodies I found.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I have my acting show case tomorrow so that means I get to put in to practice all the things I have learnt over the last 10 weeks. Quite frankly, I've realised I am pants at acting but actually surprisingly good at presenting 'infomercial' type things. :-)

I got some nice goodies in Homesense (sister store of TK Maxx) a couple of weeks ago. There are some great bargains to be had if you keep you eyes out.

Atilla would be a good name for her as she is a bit of a "hun" with the other hen "buttercup" sometimes. Saying that they were cuddled up together in the nesting box tonight! From our little experience I think you are correct about hybrids, ours is so funny and friendly whereas the other two purebreds are timid and not so friendly but they are young and are eating from our hands now so hopefully they will come along with the leadership of the hybrid who is definitely the boss of the group! They are great pets, we are loving them!
I love TK Maxx, we have a Homesense nearby and I can happily while away an hour there, without fail I always find something there.

We have a homesense which is brill, got some goodies myself on Thursday night...think they have realised that CK is popular as thay had set them up together in a little display!

I'm pleased to say there will be a break in the middle of the day, when I am going for lunch beside the canal. I'm meeting friends who live in US, who I havent seen for about 8 years!!

Lovely stuff - to be honest, I'd completely forgot about TK Maxx until I started seeing posts about it on blogs! That's what 4 years in France will do to you, I guess.
Here in France one of my favourite 'cheapy' stores is called Gifi. They have a different remit to TK Maxx, but do seem to 'tune in' to current trends (e.g. French Vintage) and make their own charmingly affordable versions. It's one of those places where you pop in to buy a plastic box and come out with two candleholders, some oil cloth, a basket and a vintage-style blackboard...

You are so lucky!! The U.S. version is called "TJ Maxx" and has great reduced merchandise, especially the kitchen items. What I wouldn't give for it to have CK items though!
